Jeffery Layne Thompson

Jeffery Layne Thompson was born October 10, 1961, in Overton County, TN, and he passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at his residence in Hilham, TN, at the age of 61.

He was the son of the late Billy Elmer Thompson and Irma Inez Boles Thompson. He was married to the late Sharon Thompson, who passed away July 12, 2009. He was an automotive factory worker.

Survivors include 3 Sons: Michael Thompson of Cookeville, TN, Robert Thompson of Cookeville, TN, and David Thompson of Sparta, TN; Daughter: Crystal Thompson of Bargersville, IN; 2 Brothers: Charles Thompson of Allons, TN, and Donnie Whited of Monroe, TN; and 2 Sisters: Billie Griffith of Baxter, TN, and Wanda Walker of Allons, TN.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 1 P.M. at the Thompson Family Cemetery on Joe D. Coffee Rd. in Monroe, TN, with Bro. Mike Fox officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 10 A.M. until 12 Noon at the funeral home.
