Funeral services for Mrs. Jeanette Fox, 78, of Leesburg, AL, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, November 10, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Sunday from 12 Noon until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Floyd Hospital in Rome, GA. She was born September 19, 1941, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Thomas Webb Petty and Elsie Bea Hamlet Petty. She was married to James Fox, who survives. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Church of Christ in Centre, AL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Thomas, Jesse, and Lyman; 3 Sisters: Nancy, Dorothy, and Linda; 2 Grandchildren: Adam and Richie; and 1 Great Granddaughter: Julia. Survivors include her Husband: James Fox of Leesburg, AL; 2 Sons: James Phillip (Sharon) Fox of Leesburg, AL, and John Paul (Barbara) Fox of Leesburg, AL; 3 Daughters: Kathy Fox and Bruce Hoose of Leesburg, AL, Teresa Fox (Gary) Morrison of Vance, AL, and Rita Fox (Andy) Mayrand of Gadsden, AL; 1 Brother: Willis "Shorty" Petty of Gainesboro, TN; and 4 Sisters: Charlene Petty Merritt of Hendersonville, TN, Betty Petty Brock of AL, Tennie Petty Webb of Willette, TN, and Susie Petty Lee of IL. 22 Grandchildren, 48 Great Grandchildren, and many who called her "Memaw" also survive.
