Jean Meadows Sadler

Graveside services for Mrs. Jean Meadows Sadler, 80, of Whitleyville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, March 15, 2007, at the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Thursday from 9 A.M. - 1:30 P.M. Mrs. Sadler passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2007, at her residence in Whitleyville, TN. She was born August 8, 1926, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Earnest and Rosa Gaines Meadows. On October 26, 1946, she was married to the late Ben F. Sadler, who passed away November 22, 1997. She was a retired teacher, and a member of the Whitleyville Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Tom Meadows. Survivors include 2 Sons: Bruce Sadler of Bourg, LA, and Phillip Sadler of Cut Off, LA; 4 Grandchildren: Kyle Sadler of Houma, LA, Desiree Pitre of Cut Off, LA, Amanda Oertling of Slidell, LA, and Eric Sadler of Cut Off, LA; 5 Great - Grandchildren: Peyton Sadler of Houma, LA, Benjamin Sadler of Cut Off, LA, Madelin Pitre of Cut Off, LA, Jackson Sadler of Houma, LA, and Katherine Oertling of Slidell, LA; 1 Brother: Eddie Meadows of Port Allen, LA; and 2 Sisters: Nannie Spivey and Jewel Painter, both of Whitleyville, TN. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
