Funeral services for Mr. J.C. Crowe, 90, of Hardinsburg, KY, will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Double Springs Cemetery in Putnam County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, KY. He was born November 21, 1927, in Roseville, KY, to the late Dudley Crowe and Mittie Crowe. He was married to the late Helen Virginia Crowe. He was a land surveyor, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He loved his family, and enjoyed watching sports and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Alfred Crowe, Myrvin Crowe, and Clayton Crowe; and 4 Sisters: Beulah Mae Fulkerson, Eva Louemma Stinnett, Myrle Dewitt, and Arnora Cain. Survivors include 2 Sons: Jerry (Mike) Crowe and Randy Crowe; 4 Granddaughters: Rhiannon (Tony) Ellis, Lela Crowe, Danielle (Buddy) Brooks, and Amber Crowe; and 5 Great Grandchildren: Colleen, Aidyn, Harper, Hadley, and Hudson.
