Funeral services for Jason Corey Rodgers, 25, of Baxter, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rodgers Cemetery in Putnam County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12 Noon until time of services. He passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014, in Putnam County, TN. He was born November 16, 1988, in Putnam County, TN, to Mary Brown Rodgers and the late Leonard E. Rodgers. He was disabled, and a member of the Baxter Church of Christ. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather: Lewis Owen Rodgers; his Maternal Grandparents: J.B. and A.V. Brown; and Aunt: Brenda Chaffin. Survivors include his Mother: Mary Brown Rodgers of Baxter, TN; his Paternal Grandmother: Elizabeth Rodgers; and 1 Brother: Steven Rodgers of Cookeville, TN. Several uncles, aunts, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Alan Judd will officiate at the services.
