Funeral services for Mrs. Janie Collins, 61, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, March 10, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3 - 9 P.M., and Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Collins passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2007, at her residence. She was born March 31, 1945, in Jackson County, TN, to Mary E. Locke and the late Charles Smith. She was a retired secretary and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her Step - Father: Bennette Locke. Survivors include 2 Sons and Daughters-in-Law: Tim & Brenda Collins and Mark & Terri Collins, all of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Sandra Collins of Cookeville, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Eric Collins, Rebecca Collins, and Cassidy Collins, all of Gainesboro, TN; her Mother: Mary E. Locke of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Brother and Sister-in-Law: John & Lucille Smith of Donelson, TN. Bro. Matthew Scoggins and Bro. Eric Collins will officiate at the services.
