Janice Locke

Janice Locke was born June 1, 1950, in Clay County, TN and she passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Mabry Health Care and Rehab in Gainesboro, TN, at the age of 72.

She was the daughter of the late Benton Edward Tinsley and Mary Iris Dailey Tinsley. She was married to the late Landon Locke. She worked as a CNA, and was a member of the Church of Christ.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her Daughter: Terrilyn Allen; and Sisters: Louise Tinsley, Connie Locke, Bonnie Locke, and Sharon Stafford.

Survivors include 1 Brother: Jimmy Tinsley of Gainesboro, TN; Sisters: Maymie Hunter and Betty Sizemore, both of Gainesboro, TN; Grandchildren: Leeland Allen and Lucas Allen, both of Cookeville, TN; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 1 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, with Bro. Mike Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 P.M. – 7 P.M., and Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services.
