Mrs. Janice Lena Allen Mitchell, 70, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017 at her residence in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. There will be no visitation or services at the funeral home. She was born April 11, 1947 in Jackson County, TN to the late John William Allen and Dottie Allen Chaffin. She was married to Don Mitchell, who survives. She was a quality inspector in the electronics industry and was a member of the Morrison Creek Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Oliver Kenneth Allen and Billy Gene Allen; and 1 Sister: Violet Martin. She is survived by her Husband: Don Mitchell of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Special Grandson: Adam Richard Mathias of Phoenix, Arizona; 3 Brothers: Bobby (Wava) Allen of Gainesboro, TN, Larsen (Velma) Allen of Rickman, TN, and Toy (Linda) Allen of Gainesboro, TN, and 1 Sister: Betty Flatt of Gainesboro, TN.
