James Young Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. James Jr. Young, 64, of the Center Grove community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 3 P.M. on Saturday, March 18, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Young Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends Friday from 11 A.M. - 9 P.M., and Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mr. Young passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at the Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He was born July 3, 1941, in Jackson County, TN, to the late George V. Young and Ethel Flatt Young. Mr. Young was a retired carpenter, and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Charles Young; and 1 Granddaughter: Breanna Little. Survivors include 3 Daughters and Sons-in-Law: Kim Little & Donnie Manning, and Jackie & Lane Jenkins, all of Gainesboro, TN and Debbie & Brian Beals of Massachusetts; 12 Grandchildren: Danielle and William Jenkins, Genoa and Kayla Jenkins, Buddy, Josh, and Cody Little, Ashley Dietz, Rachel, Danielle, and Barbara Joyce Lyonas, and Brandon Beals; 1 Great-Grandchild: Thomas Little; 4 Brothers: T.J. & Cindy Young, and Dennis & Linda Young, all of Carthage, TN, Ronnie & Shirley Young of North Carolina, and Thomas Young of Red Boiling Springs, TN; 1 Sister: Loretta & Don Provencher of New Hampshire; a Special Friend: Patrick Martin of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Special Nieces: Brenda Spivey and Phyllis Heady, both of Gainesboro, TN. Other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
