Funeral services for Mr. James Fred (Pee Wee) McCormick, 69, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 12 noon on Friday, September 7, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Friday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mr. McCormick passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2007, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. He was born September 10, 1937, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Donald and Rosie Stafford McCormick. He was an off-shore driller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Roger and Rufus McCormick. Survivors include 1 Son: Eugie Lee McCormick of Mendenhall, Mississippi; 2 Daughters: Sara McCormick of Pearl, MS and Billie Stewart of Braxton, MS; 1 Step-Daughter: Teresa Wray of Florence, MS; 1 Brother: Roy McCormick of Lafayette, TN; and 2 Sisters: Donnietta West and Darlene McCormick, both of Gainesboro, TN. 5 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild also survive.
