James Vernon Jackson

James Vernon Jackson was born July 21, 1939, in Screven, GA, and he passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Mabry Healthcare and Rehab in Gainesboro, TN, at the age of 84.

He was the son of the late William Henry Jackson and Ivon Edmonson Jackson. He was the owner of a sign company, and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Jackson was a resident of Gainesboro, TN.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Wife, Annette Barlow Jackson who passed away July 18, 2021; Brothers: Johnny Jackson and Roy Gene Jackson; and Sister: Lavon Jackson.

Survivors include his Sons: James David Jackson and Jeffrey Allen Jackson, both of Lakeland, FL; Daughter: Pamela Anthony of Gainesboro, TN; Brothers: Wayne Jackson of GA, Wyman Jackson of FL, and Norman Jackson of FL; Sisters: Brenda Wasden, Maudine Hutton, and Reba Amee, all of FL; 4 Grandchildren; and 8 Great Grandchildren.

The family has chosen cremation, with memorial services to be held at a later date in Florida.
