Funeral services for Mr. James Boyd (Skinny) Stewart, 82, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, February 13, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Stewart passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2007, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born July 11, 1924, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Melvin Stewart and Edna Petty Stewart. On October 15, 1949, he was married to Robbie Sue Stewart, who survives. He was a retired deputy sheriff for the Jackson County Sheriff's Department. Survivors include his wife: Robbie Sue Stewart of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son and Daughter-in-Law: Chuck and Pam Stewart of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Jimmie Stafford and Kathy Lynn, both of Gainesboro, TN; 7 Grandchildren: Josh and Justin Stewart; Jeff, Jeremy, and Brande Stafford; Marlana Lemmons; and D'na Lynn; 1 Brother: Gene (Glynn) Stewart of Cleveland, Ohio; 1 Sister: Marie (Pete) Vinson of Mt. Juliet, TN; and 2 Sisters-in-Law: Estelle Stewart and Marie Stewart. 9 Great - Grandchildren also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
