Funeral services for Mr. James Samuel Taylor, 75, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Young Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 P.M. - 9 P. M., and Thursday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born January 10, 1938, in Jackson County, TN, to the late John William Taylor and Rhoda Violet Netherton Taylor. He was married to the late Ethel Stacy Taylor. He was a factory worker and a resident of the Center Grove community of Jackson County. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Rulon Netherton Taylor and Wilburn Edward Taylor; 2 Stepsons: Billie Stacy and Earnest Stacy; and by His Grandparents: Jim and Martha Taylor and Sam and Bertha Netherton. Survivors include 1 Step-son: Willis Stacy of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Step-Daughters: Carol Justice of Dayton, Ohio and Jeannie Nicholes of Celina, TN; 4 Step-Grandchildren: Frankie Stacy, Cassie Stacy Pigg, Tonya Montgomery, and Tina Adkins; 5 Brothers: Landon Taylor of Jackson County, TN; Joe Lee Taylor of Cookeville, TN; Grover Taylor of Virginia; McArther Taylor of Michigan; and Virgil Taylor of Jackson County, TN; and 3 Sisters: Opal (RL) Mahan and Judy (Ray) Spears, both of White County, TN; Ann (Paul) Netherton of Cookeville, TN.
