Funeral services for Mr. James (Jim) Robert Maxwell, 55, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, June 3, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Sunday from 12 noon until time of services. Mr. Maxwell passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2007, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born November 12, 1951, in Jackson County, TN, to Elease Poteet Maxwell Anderson and the late James Maxwell. He worked in construction, and served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his father: James Maxwell; paternal grandparents: James B. and Louise Roberts Maxwell; and maternal grandparents: Everett C. and Mary Alice Brewington Poteet. Survivors include 1 Son: Jimmy Robert Maxwell of Anderson, IN; 4 Daughters: Heidi (Jaime) Avila of Sevierville, TN, Danielle Maxwell of Cookeville, TN, Cheyenne Maxwell and Raven Maxwell, both of Anderson, IN; his mother: Elease Poteet Maxwell Anderson of Cookeville, TN; 6 Grandchildren: Shardah Stewart, Justin Stewart, Nakeita Stewart, Haley Russell, Daniel Maxwell, and Gabriel Maxwell; and 2 Brothers: Jerry Wayne Maxwell of Cookeville, TN, and Joel Terry Maxwell of Cookeville, TN.
