James Ralph Bowman

Funeral services for Mr. James Ralph Bowman, 74, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, September 2, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1 P. M. - 9 P.M., and Sunday from 11 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Bowman passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2007, at his residence in Gainesboro, TN. He was born March 3, 1933, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Edd Lee and Maude Huff Bowman. On April 3, 1974, he was married to Llean M. Bowman, who survives. He was retired from Nielsen Moulding, and was a member of the Dudneys Hill Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Infant Sister; and 1 Daughter: Melissa Bowman. Survivors include his wife: Llean M. Bowman of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Jimmy R. Bowman of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Daughters: Pat Poston of Cookeville, TN, Jo Ann Bowman of Gainesboro, TN, Kathy Burgess of Gainesboro, TN, and Sandy Comparato of South Lake, TX; 2 Grandsons: Blake Bowman and Scott Wilson; 2 Half - Brothers: Kenny Bowman of Alabama, and Mike Bowman of Livingston, TN; and 1 Half - Sister: Angelia Bowman of Gainesboro, TN.
