James R. Murray

Funeral services for Mr. James "Jimmy" R. Murray, 34, of Baxter, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, February 23, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 - 9 P.M., and Thursday from 9 A.M. until time of services at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mr. Murray passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2006, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee. He was born March 8, 1971, in Detroit, Michigan to James W. Murray and the late Lois H. Murray. Mr. Murray was a factory worker, and a member of the Trinity First Assembly of God in Cookeville. He was preceded in death by his mother: Lois H. Murray; 1 Son: Christopher Murray; his paternal grandparents: Dudley & Cora Murray; and his maternal grandparents: Richard & Ruby Cronk Survivors include 2 Sons: John Murray of Cookeville, TN, and Gage Murray of Pennsylvania; 2 Daughters: Scarlett Copeland of Monterey, TN, and Kiki Murray of Pennsylvania; His father: James W. Murray of Baxter, TN; and 3 Sisters: Vicky Mayberry of Buffalo Valley, TN, and Patricia Stafford and Lisa Branson, both of Gainesboro, TN. Bro. Doyle B. Wilmoth will officiate at the services.
