Funeral services for Mr. James H. Hamlet, 83, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was born May 15, 1934, in Gainesboro, TN, to the late Bill Hamlet and Daffo Hamlet. He was married to Ethel Hamlet, who survives. He was a handyman, and an assembly worker at General Motors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Lonnie Hamlet. He is survived by his Wife: Ethel Hamlet of Gainesboro, TN. Several children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, and sisters also survive. Bro. Alan Judd will officiate at the services.
