Graveside services for James Earl Cox, 84, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, February 6, 2020, at the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12 Noon until time to leave for the graveside service. He passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at his residence. He was born July 22, 1935, in Jackson County, TN, to the late John Cox and Nora Cox. He was a sawmill worker, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 11 Brothers and Sisters. Survivors include 5 Nephews: Chris Hamilton of Celina, TN, Jeff Beechboard of Celina, TN, David Boles of Celina, TN, Randy Cox of Celina, TN, and Richard Cox of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Nieces: Elizabeth Beechboard of Celina, TN, Patty Spears of Celina, TN, Donna Beechboard of Tompkinsville, KY, and Betty Cox of Livingston, TN; and Special Caretakers: Sandy Wheet of Celina, TN, Bree Skye Wheet of Celina, TN, Mary Ann Hamilton of Celina, TN, and Robert Spivey of Gainesboro, TN.
