James E. Thiel

James E. Thiel, 79, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022, at his home in Cookeville, TN. Mr. Thiel was born December 16, 1942, in Rockford, IL, the second child of the late Gerald H. Thiel and Jeannett L. Thiel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ann Thiel; daughters, Tia Clay and Tanya Thiel; son, Rod Thiel; and sister, Carolyn Scott. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Stockton Thiel; daughter, Tisha Hendricks; son, Romily (Annie) Thiel; granddaughter, Sachi Hendricks; grandson, Brandon Hendricks; sisters, Judy Larke and Kathy Sanders; stepdaughters, Martha Alford, Margaret Itoney, Elizabeth Stockton, Sara Stockton, Anne Garrett; grandsons, Max Garrett, Zachary Itoney, Travis (Lily) Alford and Harrison Alford; granddaughters, Sarah E.
