James "David" Anderson

Funeral services for Mr. James "David" Anderson, 70, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, November 12, 2012, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 P.M. - 9 P. M., and on Monday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Friday, November 9, 2012, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was born February 3, 1942, in Detroit, MI, to the late Fred Anderson and Viola Bowman Anderson. On June 24, 2006, he was married to Spring Rector Anderson, who survives. He was an airplane mechanic, and attended the Zion Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Navy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents: Bedford and Lola Anderson; and his Maternal Grandparents: Dillard and Dovie Bowman. Survivors include his Wife: Spring Rector Anderson of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Jeff (Jerri Ann) Anderson of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Daughters: Tracy Dawn Anderson and partner, Holly Ann Buechler, of Yakima, WA, Roxanne (Tom) Geesling of Hilham, TN, and Elaine (Stephen) South of Cookeville, TN; 11 Grandchildren; and 1 Sister: Pat (Frazier) Medlin of Cookeville, TN.
