Funeral services for Mr. James C. Haney, 78, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 3 P.M. on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Young Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019, at Signature Health Care Center in Algood, TN. He was born April 27, 1941, in Gallatin, TN, to the late Carl Edward Haney and Belva Pippin Haney. On August 19, 1962, he was married to Alma Haney, who survives. He worked as a truck driver for 32 years, and was a member of the Teamsters Union. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Kimberly Lynn Haney; 1 Brother: Charles E. Haney; and 1 Nephew: Carl Edward Haney. Survivors include his Wife: Alma Haney of Cookeville, TN; 2 Daughters: Brenda (Kraig) Kamrath of Sterling Heights, MI, and Jamie (Joe) Hamann of Cookeville, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Cody Hamann of Russell Springs, KY, and Karlie Kamrath of Melvindale, MI; 1 Great Grandson: Grayson James Hamann of Russell Springs, KY; and 1 Brother: Glen (Geneva) Haney of the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN.
