Memorial services for Jacqueline Mae (Gerken) Peci, 54, of Granville, Tennessee, will be held at 6 P.M. on Monday, November 5, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial took place in Milan Cemetery in Milan, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 P.M. - 6 P. M. She passed away on Friday, October 26, 2007, at her residence in Granville. She was born August 3, 1953, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Geraldine (Saas) Hardway and Russell Savage. She was an English teacher for the Smith County Public School System in Carthage, TN. She was a member of the Norwalk Alliance Church in Ohio. She was a graduate of Norwalk (Ohio) High School and Miami University (Ohio). She enjoyed running, tennis, swimming, skiing, and scuba diving. She kept two horses at her home and found solace with friends in regular rides through the countryside. She was a violinist, soprano singer, and a member of the Symphony Guild in Cookeville, TN. Survivors include her mother: Geraldine (Saas) Hardway of Norwalk, Ohio; her father: Russell Savage of Anderson, Indiana; her companion: Jerry Goolsby of Granville, TN; 2 Sons: Joshua Gerken of Cleveland, Ohio, and Daniel Gerkin of Columbus, Ohio; 1 Daughter: Dinah Gerken of Columbus, Ohio; and 2 Brothers: Jeffrey Savage and Justin Savage, both of Norwalk, Ohio.
