Jack Terry

Jack Terry, 70, of the Hurricane community of Jackson County, TN, passed away on January 19, 2021, at his residence. The family has chosen cremation, with graveside services on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Terry and Gore Cemetery beginning at 1 PM. He was born April 3, 1950, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Arvil C. Terry and Sylvia Savage Terry. On October 24, 1970, he was married to Gayle Terry, who survives. He worked as a mechanic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Jeff Terry; and 1 Sister: Debbie Biggs. Survivors include his Wife: Gayle Terry of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Cyndy Hornsby of Huntsville, AL; 3 Sisters: Margarette Girgenti of TX, Arlene Maynard of Gainesboro, TN, and Paula Sue Turner of Indiana; and 3 Grandchildren: Austin Poteet of Knoxville, TN, McKenzie and Savannah Hornsby of Huntsville, AL. Bro. James Bybee will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association by contacting the funeral home.
