Jack Stafford

Jack Stafford was born October 30, 1939, in Gainesboro, TN, and he passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center, at the age of 82. He was the son of the late Sam Stafford and Hallie Biggs Stafford. He was married to the late Dora V. Stafford. He was a construction worker. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: Sam Tensley Stafford; Daughters: Cora, Catherine Jo, and Rosemary Stafford; 5 Sisters; 3 Brothers; and Son in Law: Robert Henley. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Deborah Henley of Cookeville, TN; 2 Sons: Jackie Stafford and Joseph Stafford, both of Gainesboro, TN; Brother: Paul Stafford of Gainesboro, TN; Sister: Janie Uhles of Gainesboro, TN; 8 Grandchildren; and 7 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 2 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
