Jack Reeve

Memorial services for Mr. Jack Reeve, 85, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 5 P.M. on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 8, 2017, from 3 P.M. until time of services. He passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. He was born January 4, 1932, in Wilkes-Barre, PA, to the late Leo John Reeve, Sr. and Loretta Sauer Reeve. On July 17, 1952, he was married to the late Ann E. Bassler Reeve, who passed away May 5, 2014. He was a grocery store owner, and a member of the Gainesboro First United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a manager at Heavy Duty, and was the city recorder for Gainesboro. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Grandchild: Susie Hickey; and 1 Brother: Eugene Reeve. Survivors include 1 Son: Kirk (Mary) Reeve of Virginia Beach, VA; 2 Daughters: Romaine (Tom) Ballew of Chattanooga, TN, and Leighann Flatt and Mickey Sircy of Gainesboro, TN; 8 Grandchildren: Bobby Reeve, Christie Reeve, Michelle (Andrew) Lewis, John Reeve, Eric (Alida) Jones, Mandy (Stephen) Pickett, Beth (Steve) Seiler, and Eric Hickey; and 4 Great Grandchildren: Tazia Reeve, Ethan Hickey, Abby Hickey, and Ben Seiler.
