Jack DeWeese

Funeral services for Mr. Jack DeWeese, 69, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Zion Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M. and on Tuesday from 11 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015, at his residence. He was born August 5, 1945, in Putnam County, TN, to the late Fred DeWeese and Martha DeWeese. On April 27, 2001, he was married to Brenda DeWeese, who survives. He was a journeyman tool and die maker, and was affiliated with the Church of Christ. He was an avid coon hunter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his First Wife: Rita DeWeese; and 1 Son: Jack Ray DeWeese. Survivors include his Wife: Brenda DeWeese of Cookeville, TN; 4 Sons: Clint (Jody) DeWeese, Dennis (Lisa) Knight, Joey (Shelia) Knight, and Brett Knight, all of Cookeville, TN; 2 Daughters: Martha (Johnny) Cheryl Bryant of Walling, TN, and Renee (Kelly) Keeling of Bardstown, KY; 1 Sister: Carol Hoover of Gainesboro, TN; Nieces and Nephews: John and Lora Hoover and Andrea Hoover; Special Friends: Ralph Chaffin and Earl Loftis; 14 Grandchildren; and 2 Great-Grandchildren.
