Jack D. Locke

Funeral services for Mr. Jack D. Locke, 56, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, September 13, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 A.M. - 9 P. M., and Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Locke passed away on Friday, September 11, 2009, at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN. He was born June 28, 1953, in Jackson County, TN, to Dorothy Henson Locke and the late Jim T. Locke. On January 22, 1972, he was married to Connie Locke, who survives. He worked in construction and was a truck driver. He was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: Jackie Dale Locke, Jr.; his Paternal Grandparents: Charlie and Lena Locke; and his Maternal Grandparents: Harvey and Georgia Henson. Survivors include his Wife: Connie Locke of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Jacqueline Sizemore of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Matthew Sizemore, Kristin and Destiny Moore; his Mother: Dorothy Henson Locke of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Brothers: Landon (Janice) Locke, David Locke and Danny (Penny) Locke all of Gainesboro, TN; and Harold (Remy) Locke of Fayetteville, NC; 2 Sisters: Sandra Spurlock and Debbie (Richard) Hensley, both of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister-in- law: Bonnie Locke of Gainesboro, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
