Ivy Jean Burgess

Ivy Jean Burgess age 39 of Alcoa, TN passed away at her residence on Thursday, July 16, 2020. She was born in Jackson County, TN on February 10, 1981 to Mark Callahan and Suzanne Lawson Burgess. She was an office worker. Ivy Jean was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Carl Lawson and paternal grandparents, Warren and Virginia Callahan. Survivors include her wife, Angela Star Jennings of Alcoa, TN, biological father, Mark Callahan, mother and adoptive father, Suzanne and Lonnie Burgess, brother, John Callahan, sister, Ashley Marengo, step-son, Stephen Ledbetter, paternal grandmother, Rosie Lawson of Gainesboro, step-mother, Delores Callahan, uncle, Michael Steven Lawson of Gainesboro, grand-child, Avery Grace Murr-Ledbetter and her pet dog, Lu Lu. Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 2 PM at Pharris Cemetery with Bro. Duane Gossett officiating. No visitation will be held at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials made be made to Pharris Cemetery by contacting the funeral home.
