Graveside services for Ivory Allen, 95, of Cookeville, TN, will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 2 P.M. at the Dodson Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Thursday from 10 A.M. - 1 P.M. She passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Mabry Health Care and Rehab. She was born October 23, 1926, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Ernest C. Bull and Sarah Bean Bull. She was married to the late Dow Morgan Allen. She was a housewife. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Lester Fred Allen; and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include 1 Son: Jimmy (Renva) Allen of Cookeville, TN; 1 Brother: Ernest Bull, Jr. of Scottsville, KY; 1 Sister: Jo Ann Dishman of Bethpage, TN; Grandchildren: Angie Marie Allen, Rachel Raymond, Kathlyn Morine, Melissa Clevenger, and Brian Allen; and several Great Grandchildren. Rev. Bill Haney will officiate at the services.
