Irene Hammock

Funeral services for Mrs. Irene Hammock, 65, of the Old Antioch community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, August 2, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Stacy Cemetery in the Old Antioch Community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Saturday from 9 A.M until time of services. Mrs. Hammock passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born November 24, 1942, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Lester and Cleo Hammock Stacy. On October 22, 1961, she was married to Aaron "Beagum" Hammock, who survives. She was a factory worker and a member of the Burristown Assembly of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Howard, Harm, Harold, and Jimmy Stacy. Survivors include her Husband: Aaron "Beagum" Hammock, of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Brothers: Gerold Stacy, Garry Stacy and Michael Stacy, all of Gainesboro, TN; and 4 Sisters: Rose Hammock and Cappy Phillips, both of Gainesboro, TN; Brenda Clark of Cookeville, TN and Georgia Crane, of New York. 31 Nephews and Nieces, several Great Nephews and Nieces, and several Great-Great Nephews and Nieces also survive.
