Funeral services for Mrs. Irene Davenport Taylor, 68, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, May 3, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery in the Wartrace community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 A.M. - 9 P.M., and Sunday from 12 Noon until time of services. Mrs. Taylor passed away on Friday, May 1, 2009, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born January 13, 1941, in Smith County, TN, to the late Warren and Clovis Stubblefield Davenport. She was a unit secretary at Cookeville Regional Medical Center, and a Christian. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Louie Davenport. Survivors include 2 Sons: James Holliman, and his fiance, Katrina Spivey, of Gainesboro, TN, and Jason (Julie) Holliman of Chattanooga, TN; 2 Daughters: Pamela Grogan of Gainesboro, TN, and Michelle (Mike) Spivey of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Brother: Gerald (Margaret) Davenport of Whitleyville, TN; 6 Grandchildren: Brandon Spivey, Wesley Holliman, Steven Spivey, Austin Holliman, Lucas Spivey, and Katie Spivey; and 2 Great-Grandchildren: Lilly Grace Spivey and Wyley Greyson Holliman.
