Ina Way Trisdale

Funeral services for Mrs. Ina Way Trisdale, 84, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, May 12, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:30 P.M. - 10 P.M., and on Friday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Trisdale passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at the Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston, TN. She was born March 6, 1922, in Jackson County to the late Andrew Way & Lula Smith Way. On September 25, 1946, she was married to the late James Trisdale, who passed away in 1963. Mrs. Trisdale was a retired cafeteria manager at Jackson County High School & Gainesboro Elementary School. She was a member of the McCoinsville Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband: Louis Trisdale, who she married on June 27, 1938, and was killed in action during World War II; 2 Sons: Tommy Roy Trisdale and Charles Trisdale; 1 Daughter: Patricia Ann Trisdale; 1 Granddaughter: Holly Lee Mercer; 1 Brother: Bennie Way; and 4 Sisters: Clara Netherton, Martha Pruett, Anna Neal, and Rose Gipson. Survivors include 2 Daughters and Sons-in-Law: Betty & Dale Mercer and Judy & Wayne Hix, all of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter-in-Law: Sylvia Trisdale of Baxter, TN; 1 Brother: Buford Way of Oak Ridge, TN; 9 Grandchildren: Sherri Trisdale, Teresa Dyer, Steve Trisdale, Charlotte McClellan, Chuck Trisdale, Rachel Ragland, Jaime Ragland, Jonathan Mercer, and Jared Hix; 12 Great-Grandchildren: Bryan Dyer, Lacy Trisdale, Brittany Dyer, Hayley Trisdale, Peyton Ragland, Tyler McClellan, Hannah Ragland, Meredith McClellan, Brady & Cason Ragland, and Holly & Caleb Trisdale; and 1 Great- Great Grandson: Ayden Dyer.
