Hullon "Pooch" Haney

Funeral services for Mr. Hullon "Pooch" Haney, 77, of Orlando, Florida, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, February 20, 2011, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Young Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at Florida Hospital in Orlando, FL. He was born May 12, 1933, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Johnny Whad "Cheed" Haney and Lizzie Jane "Janie" Chaffin Haney. On June 10, 1955, he was married to the late Elsie Pippin Haney, who passed away March 8, 2004. He was an automotive factory worker, and a member of the Central Church of Christ in Altamonte Springs, FL. He served his country during the Korean War. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Louise Vickers; and 1 Brother: Gene Haney. Survivors include 2 Sons: Eddie Haney and Freddie Haney, both of Florida; 2 Daughters: Brenda Pennington and Patricia Haney, both of Florida; 3 Brothers: William Glenn Haney, David Haney, and Bobby Haney, all of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Sisters: Doylene Rodgers, A.V. Meadows, and Ida Wheeler; 8 Grandchildren; and 7 Great Grandchildren. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
