Funeral services for Mr. Hugh Gene Greenwood, 76, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, January 30, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born August 5, 1940, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Oplis Greenwood and Olene Greenwood. He was married to Joy Greenwood, who survives. He worked in custom auto work and detailing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: David Keith Greenwood; and 1 Brother: Bobby Joe Greenwood. Survivors include his Wife: Joy Greenwood of Cookeville, TN; 3 Sons: Philip (Gina) Greenwood of FL, Mike LaFever of Cookeville, TN, and Richard (Fawn) LaFever of Cookeville, TN; 4 Daughters: Karen Greenwood of FL, LeAnn Miller of FL, Sherrie (Alan) Young of Cookeville, TN, and Darla LaFever of FL; 14 Grandchildren: Ashley Caruso, Meleah Poppleton, Lekaya Miller, Dakota Miller, Cheyenne Miller, Lakin Greenwood, Dalton Greenwood, Zachary Greenwood, Alan Young, Jr., Justin Young, Ashley Hyde, Kyla Langenback, Teia Smith, and Becca Looper; 7 Great Grandchildren; 4 Brothers: Mack Greenwood of Gainesboro, TN, Charles (Doris) Greenwood of Lebanon, TN, George (Pat) Greenwood of Springfield, TN, and Jimmy (Hazel) Greenwood of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister: Mary (Larry) Heady of Cookeville, TN.
