Huey Cecil Jones

Funeral services for Mr. Huey Cecil Jones, 81, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2009, at Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born October 12, 1928, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Bedford and Lena M. Keith Jones. He was married to the late Thelma Tipton Jones, who passed away June 14, 2003. He was a retired inspector at General Motors in Dayton, OH. He was a member of the Pippin Church of Christ. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 5 Brothers: Bill, Lex, Clifford, Ridley, and James M. Jones. Survivors include 3 Sons: Terry Jones, Ray Jones, and Jeff Jones, all of Dayton, OH; 3 Step-Sons: Danny Tipton, Douglas Tipton, and Michael Tipton, all of OH; 1 Daughter: Kathy Jones of Jackson County, TN; 2 Step-Daughters: Terry Calson and Cathy Tipton, both of OH; 1 Brother: Herman "Booger" Jones of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Sisters: Maggie L. Wilder and Bonnie L. Allen, both of Cookeville, TN. Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren also survive. Bro. Randy Bybee will officiate at the services.
