Mr. Howard David Chaffin, 72, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2008, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. The family has chosen cremation, and no services are planned at this time. He was born July 19, 1935, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Johnny B. Chaffin and Mary Ella Bean Chaffin. He was a truck driver and loved fox hunting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Edgar Chaffin and Everett J. Chaffin; and 1 Sister: Naomi Roberts. Survivors include 1 Son: Jonathan Chaffin of Cookeville, TN; 1 Step-Son: Doug Freeman of Cookeville, TN; 1 Brother: Ben Chaffin of Cookeville, TN; and 1 Sister: Ethel Phillips of MI.
