Horace Edwin Graves

Mr. Horace Edwin Graves, 88, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014, at 2:45 P.M. at Spring HIll Cemetery in Nashville, TN. There will be no visitation or services at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. He was born December 19, 1925, in Nashville, TN, to the late Luther W. Graves and Frances Clinard Graves. He was married to Frances Norman Graves, who survives. He was the associate manager of all U.S. Post Offices throughout middle Tennessee. He was a member of Murfreesboro First Baptist Church, and McWhirtersville Lodge #375 F&AM in Nashville, TN. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Warren Graves; and a Special Aunt: Mai Johnson. Survivors include his Wife: Frances Norman Graves of Granville, TN; 1 Son: William Richard (Peggy) Garrison of Gallatin, TN; 2 Daughters: Jean Ellen (Stephen) Deaver of Granville, TN, and Judy (Bill) Heatherly of Granville, TN; 1 Sister: Bonnie (Jerry) Williams of Alabama; 11 Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren; and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
