Hollis Robinson

Funeral services for Mr. Hollis Lee Robinson, 78, of the Freewill community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, November 29, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hensley Cemetery in the Freewill community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Monday from 3 - 9 P.M., Tuesday from 10 A.M. - 9 P.M., and Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Robinson passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2006, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee. He was born March 1, 1928, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Lon Robinson & Frances Chaffin Robinson. On September 23, 1950, he was married to the late Hazel Hensley Robinson, who passed away on January 9, 1993. Mr. Robinson was a factory employee and a member of the Church of Christ at Freewill. He was a board member of the Hensley Cemetery Trust Fund. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Willard, Oscar, and Larry Robinson. Survivors include 3 Sons: Lloyd Robinson and Gary Robinson, both of Gainesboro, TN; Estle Robinson of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter and Son-in-Law: Marilyn and James Brown of Gainesboro, TN; 5 Grandchildren: Kristy Foster, Tish Blair, Jacki Miller, Jared Robinson, and Justin Robinson; his Mother-in-Law: Margie Hensley of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Great-Grandchildren: McKenzie and Noah Miller; 1 Brother: C.D. Robinson of Cookeville, TN; and 2 Sisters: Emogene Mayberry and Willene Robinson, both of Gainesboro, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. . Bro. Alan Judd, Bro. Nathan Miller, and Bro. Wayne Crossman will officiate at the services. Pallbearers: Chad Blair, Doug Foster, Nathan Miller, Jared Robinson, Justin Robinson, and Billy Mayberry.
