Hollis O. Waye

Funeral services for Mr. Hollis O. Waye, 75, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, September 16, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 P. M. - 9 P.M. and Sunday from 12 noon until time of services. Mr. Waye passed away on Friday, September 14, 2007, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born December 22, 1931, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Raymon H. and Addie Bowman Way. He was married to Linda Waye, who survives. He was a retired factory worker and a member of the Church of Christ. He was a Shriner and a resident of the McCoinsville community of Jackson County. He also served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Howard Way. Survivors include his wife: Linda Waye of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Step-Sons: Kenneth Justice, William Justice, and Steven Justice, all of Dayton, OH; 1 Brother and Sister-in-Law: Paul and Beverly Way of Mt. Juliet, TN; and 3 Sisters and 1 Brother-in-Law: Emogene Goolsby, Vida Frizzell, and Ruth & Troy Jones, all of Gainesboro, TN. 7 Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. Pallbearers: Steve Frizzell, Randy Way, Butch Witcher, Troy Jones, Shawn Way, and Cody Way.
