Herby Hawkins

Funeral services for Mr. Herby Hawkins, 51, of the Nameless community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday, September 8, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Granville Cemetery in Granville, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., Sunday from 1 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Monday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Hawkins passed away on Friday, September 5, 2008, at his residence. He was born May 30, 1957, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Arville and Thelma Lawson Hawkins. He was a zinc miner and a member of the Faith Chapel Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Billy Howard Hawkins. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Misty Lambert (Austin) Bateman of Paris, TN; Special Friend: Mary Nesbitt of Dixon Springs, TN; 2 Sisters: Tina (Gary) Rittenberry of Cookeville, TN, and Jerrie (Stanley) Duke of the Nameless community of Jackson County, TN; 1 Niece: Melissa Walker; 1 Nephew: Kevin Hawkins; and 1 Special Cousin: Darlene (Gerald) Neal.
