Henry P. Pippin

Funeral services for Mr. Henry P. Pippin, 77, of the Shiloh community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1 P.M. - 9 P. M., and Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born March 28, 1935, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Tom C. Pippin and Zella D. Chaffin Pippin. On December 27, 1954, he was married to Lora Clinton Pippin, who survives. He was a maintenance worker at Jackson County High School, and a member of the Shiloh Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: Roger Lynn Pippin; and 1 Sister: Linda Wade. Survivors include his Wife: Lora Clinton Pippin of the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN; 2 Sons: Steve (Rhonda) Pippin and Scottie Pippin, all of Jackson County, TN; 2 Daughters: Tammy Pippin and Tina Netherton, both of Jackson County, TN; 3 Brothers: Johnny (Jewell) Pippin, Dewey C. (Nancy) Pippin, and Roy (Vicky) Pippin, all of the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN; 17 Grandchildren: Jamie, Jacqulyn, Jennifer, Kaitlyn, Stephanie, Stephen, Samantha, Patrick, Lora, Ashley, Rick, Chris, Cayla, Justin, Briley, Brooke, and Karleigh; and 22 Great Grandchildren.
