Henry James Huff

Funeral services for Mr. Henry James Huff, 83, of Granville, Tennessee, will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, November 29, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Granville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12 noon - 9 P. M., and on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Huff passed away on Monday, November 27, 2006, at the Mabry Health Care and Rehab Center in Gainesboro, Tennessee. He was born February 9, 1923, in Gallatin, TN, to the late Haskel & Vennie Frizzell Huff. On August 30, 1952, he was married to Dimple Bryant Huff, who survives. Mr. Huff was a farmer and a member of the Big Branch Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Virgil Huff and Robert (Bob) Huff; and 2 Sisters: Mary Jane Collier (his twin), and Minnie Bell Huff. Survivors include his wife: Dimple Bryant Huff of Granville, TN; 2 Sons: Stanley (Helen) Huff of Bloomington Springs, TN, and Michael (Kathy) Huff of the Freewill community of Jackson County, TN; 1 Daughter: Shirley Upchurch of Double Springs, TN; 5 Grandchildren: Shirley Brewer, Sandy Huff, Amber Crawford, Michael James Huff, and Zachary Huff; 3 Great- grandchildren: Olivia Brewer, Haven Crawford, and Keontay Easter; and 1 Sister: Laura Collier of the Flynns Lick community of Jackson County, TN. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. . Bro. Edward Anderson and Shirley Brewer will officiate at the services.
