Age 92
Heloise "Lois" McCue was born April 20, 1930 in Pleasant Shade, TN and she passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Charter Assisted Living in Cookeville at the age of 92.
Mrs. Lois was the daughter of Dillard Spivey White and Stella Gladys White. She worked in various shirt factories and was a member of the Willow Avenue Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by parents, father of her daughters, Harry Lee Denson, Jr. Paul F. McCue her husband of 31 years, brother, James D. White; son-in-law, Gus House and special friend Arkley Billingsley.
Survivors include daughters, Patsy Denson House of Cookeville, TN, Debbie (Loyd) Denson Birdwell of Cookeville, TN, Betsy Denson (Ronnie) Boyd of Paris TN; grandchildren, William "Bo" (Audrey) House, Richard House, Ethan (Karen) House, Karen Farr, Linda Birdwell, Sarah (Eric) Murphy, Theresa (Zac) Miller, Beth (Jeff) Peterson Shane Birdwell, Adam (Sophie) Birdwell and Justin Birdwell; 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren also survive. Other relatives and many friends also survive.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 22, 2022, 12 pm to 2 pm with funeral services beginning at 2 pm in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Bro. Clarence Deloach will officiate and burial will follow in Draper Cemetery on Wartrace Hwy in Jackson County.
