Helen Lynn Fox

Helen Lynn Fox, 85, of Gainesboro, TN, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020 at her daughters residence in Franklin, TN. The family has chosen cremation. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2020, at 2:30 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 P.M. She was born October 25, 1934, in Clay County, TN, to the late Girstle H. Lynn and Georgia Lynn. On November 27, 1974, she was married to John R. Fox, who survives. She was a public school teacher and librarian, and a member of the Gainesboro Church of Christ. She was also a member of DAR. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Sam Harley Lynn, Carl Hampton Lynn, G.H. Lynn, Jr., and Jack Lynn; and 2 Sisters: Virginia D. Hall and Lucy Waddell. Survivors include her Husband: John R. Fox of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sons: G. Dodd Galbreath and wife, Susan, of Nashville, TN, and Dean Galbreath and wife, Trisha, of Franklin, TN; 2 Daughters: Melyn Galbreath and husband, Mark, of Franklin, TN, and Nan Coons and husband, Darian, of Cookeville, TN; 6 Grandchildren: Ryan Galbreath, Nick Galbreath, Braden Galbreath, Ailey Galbreath, Georgia Coons, and Duel Coons; and 3 Brothers: Fred Lynn of Irvine, CA, Jim Lynn of Spencer, TN, and Joe Lynn of Celina, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the donor's favorite charity. Due to COVID 19, the family requests that visitors please wear facemasks.
