Helen Kincaid Dennis

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Kincaid Dennis, 55, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, March 12, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. The family will receive her former co-workers of Jackson County Hospital and Sparta Life Care Center on Saturday from 3 - 4 P. M., other friends on Saturday from 4 - 10 P.M., and Sunday from 12 noon until time of services. Mrs. Dennis passed away on Friday, March 10, 2006, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee. She was born March 22, 1950, in Overton County to the late Thomas Freed Kincaid and Ruth Ledford Kincaid. On December 21, 1977, she was married to Ray Dennis, who survives. Mrs. Dennis was a registered nurse. She was a member of the Flynns Creek Church of Christ, and The Daughters of the American Revolution. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather: Fred Brown; and her maternal grandparents: Houston & Carrie Ledford. Survivors include her husband: Ray Dennis of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Travis Kincaid Dennis of Nashville, TN; her grandmother: Alma Brown of Cookeville, TN; 1 Sister and Brother-in-law: Ann & Tony Craighead of Cookeville, TN; 1 Niece: Mary Elizabeth Craighead, and 1 Nephew: Zac Craighead, both of Cookeville, TN. Bro. Paul Reed Anderson and Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
