Helen Frances Forkum

Memorial services for Mrs. Helen Frances Forkum, 73, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, June 14, 2009, at Gainesboro Church of Christ in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Sunday at the church from 1 P.M. until time of services. Mrs. Forkum passed away on Friday, June 5, 2009, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born January 1, 1936, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Cordell Hull Mathis and Marjorie G. Mathis. On May 30, 1953, she was married to Maston Forkum, Jr., who survives. She was an instructor in the John Robert Powers Finishing School, and a member of the Gainesboro Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Dr. Mabry Mathis. Survivors include her Husband: Maston Forkum, Jr. of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Mark (Tracie) Forkum of Hermitage, TN; 1 Daughter: Cathy F. (Sammy) Arms of Lenoir City, TN; 1 Granddaughter: Alexa Forkum of Hermitage, TN; and 1 Brother: Dr. Charles (Jane) Mathis of Russellville, KY. Bro. Wayne Wells will officiate at the services.
