Helen Butler

Helen Butler was born February 7, 1931 in Jackson County, TN and she passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at her residence in the Gladdice community at the age of 91.

She was the daughter of the late Odell Spivey and Lola B. Hunter Spivey. She was married to the late Leon Butler, who passed away December 29, 1987. She was a housewife, and a member of the Upper Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her Son: David Wayne Butler; Great Great Grandchild: Keegan Randolph, and Son-in-Law: Roy (Puddles) Carver.

Survivors include her Daughters: Denise (Roy) Brown of Gainesboro, TN, and Renae (Danny) Richardson of Gainesboro, TN; Grandchildren: Jason (Angie) Butler, Crystal Butler, Tessa Pope, Torri (Jim) Nelson, Kelsie (Johnny) Stafford; Great Grandchildren: Isaiah (Rebecca) Butler, Levi Butler, Katie (Nick) Jarvis, Jessie (Alex) Holloway, Josh Randolph, Brantley Randolph, Eli Pope, Jorgia Claire Nelson, Bailey Rae Stafford, and Dixie Butler; and Great Great Grandchild: Gracelyn Mae Holloway.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Rich and Bro. Ricky West officiating. Burial will follow in the Gene Butler Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 4 P.M. – 8 P.M. and again on Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services.

Pallbearers will be Nick Jarvis, Alex Holloway, Isaiah Butler, Levi Butler, Eli Pope, Josh Randolph, and Brantley Randolph
