Hazel Crabtree Caplinger

Graveside services for Mrs. Hazel Crabtree Caplinger, 92, of Canton, Ohio, and formerly of the North Springs community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 4 P.M. on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1 P.M. until 3:30 P.M. at the funeral home. She passed away on Friday, August 10, 2012 at Laurels of Canton in Canton, Ohio. She was born November 3, 1919, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Amos Crabtree and Anna Choate Crabtree. On April 29, 1944, she was married to the late Harold Caplinger. She was a retired beautician and homemaker. She was a member of the West Side Church of Christ in Akron, Ohio, and the Walton Chapel Church of Christ in Lafayette, TN. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Vernon, Bernard, Roy, and Robert Crabtree; and 2 Sisters: Jewell Keith and Laurine Sadler. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Janet Caplinger of Canton, Ohio; and 1 Special Niece: Pam Walrond of Lafayette, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro.
