Hazel Carwile Stafford

Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Carwile Stafford, 90, of Dayton, Ohio, will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, December 30, 2006, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery in the New Hope community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Stafford passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2006, at Hospice of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. She was born November 25, 1916, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Leslie & Della Thrasher Carwile. On May 31, 1933, she was married to the late Johnnie Roscoe Stafford, who passed away May 27, 1989. She was a housewife and a member of the Centerville Community Church in Centerville, Ohio. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Layton Carwile and James Carwile; 1 Niece: Judy Smith; and 1 Nephew: David Carwile. . Survivors include 2 Brothers: Lloyd Carwile and Paul Carwile, both of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister: Jewell Barlow of Gainesboro, TN. Several nieces, nephews, great - nieces, and great - nephews also survive. . Rev. Perry Allen will officiate at the services. Memorial donations may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
