Funeral services for Mr. Harse Pryor, 87, of the Burristown community of Jackson County, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, January 5, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. He was born May 18, 1929, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Volentine and Velar Pryor. On August 13, 1949, he was married to the late Lassie Allen Pryor, who passed away December 16, 2002. He was a painter by trade, and was affiliated with the Assembly of God. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Grandson: Ronnie Andrew Pryor; 5 Sisters: Neely Pryor, Dora Rector, Iva D. Parrott, Lucille Pryor Brown, and Magdalene Allen; and 3 Brothers: Arvil Pryor, Willie Pryor, and Encil Pryor. Survivors include 1 Son: Roger A. Pryor of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Grandchild: Charlotte Pryor of Cookeville, TN; and 2 Great Grandchildren. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
